Position Description:

We are looking for a full-time Sales

Engineer FCO Northern Germany (m/f/x ) for our sales area of Northern Germany AT -

Full-time

  • Intensive support of existing clientele (80%) as well as acquiring new customers (20%)

  • Technical consulting on fittings, drive technology and automation

  • Order negotiations, quotation follow-up, support in the preparation of quotations

  • Following up on offers

  • After-sales service and end-consumer orientation

  • Continual market research and market monitoring

  • Identifying and developing potential markets and client bases

  • Provision of product and market information for market analysis

  • Presentation of technologies at customer locations

  • Working out solution proposals for customers

  • Bid defense through reliable negotiations

  • Continual reporting to management

  • Active participation in internal as well as international sales meetings and exchange of ideas with the sales personnel at national and international level

  • High travel share of approx. 80%, i.e. 4 out of 5 working days at the customer’s premises

  • Home office

Position Requirements:

Your qualifications:

  • Technical degree, for example, mechanical engineering or the equivalent, or technically oriented apprenticeship with further technician training

  • At least three to five years of professional experience in technical sales of industrial fittings

  • Professional experience in field service is desirable

  • Customer orientation, communication skills, and a high level of commitment and willingness to travel

  • Negotiation skills and confident appearance before customers

  • Capacity for team work, resilience, and perseverance

  • Very good English language skills
