This position is based in the Parts Distribution Center, Moosic, PA reporting to the Plant Manager and has management responsibility in the following areas:
• Receiving, order consolidation, shipping and logistics of pump parts orders, ensuring shipment to customer requirements, managing a staff of 8.
• Management of building maintenance and improvements.
• Adhering to Export Compliance Regulations
• Active Participant in the site Safety Program, ensuring adherence to site safety rules & proactive management to ensure a safe working environment and zero accident culture.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities
1.Direct management of the warehouse operations to include; shipping/receiving, inventory, order management and maintenance person.
2.Coordination of the site Safety program to ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
3.Managing key metrics, which will require direct involvement; to include learning and assisting in all daily functions as needed to drive achievement of goals.
4.Manage Daily Accountability metrics including updating and presenting status daily.
5.Set goals and objectives for team and drive performance to achieve.
6.Prepare all required reporting in a timely manner - i.e., forecast numbers.
7.Conduct mid-year and year-end Career Planning and Performance (CPP) which includes collaboration with employee on career planning, development and completion/updating of Employee Career Profile in the CPP system.
8.Manage the facility’s export compliance files to be in compliance
o Export license, approval or determination obtained by the facility
o Export license applications or other filings with the agencies
o All records of approval or denials
9.Keep up-to-date on all applicable export laws, regulations and company policies and to complete the annual certification and re-certification requirements of being a Certified ECC.
1.BS preferred with minimum 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in a related field or equivalent related experience.
2.Incumbent must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3.Good interpersonal and strong leadership skills.
4.Ability to manage a fast-paced environment including quick problem solving skills.
5.Results oriented and proven ability to drive performance to metrics.
6.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis techniques. Oracle R12 or comparable ERP system experience required.
7.Understanding of EPA and OSHA regulations.
8.Experience working with Customs brokers and freight forwarders & Knowledge of basic U.S. Customs regulations, NAFTA (US)
